UPDATE: Your miles may vary. It was weird for me to see some YouTubers with spare sticks that they used on PS4. So I thought maybe something is wrong with my controller? I went to a cheaper store and bought another controller and in fact with the other controller I had no issues with the joysticks fitting well and moving freely. Therefore, not all controllers are created equal. Updated my account and added another picture. I was hesitant to buy these because other replacement sticks I have that work with PS4/Xbox didn't work on my PS5 Dual Sense. Joysticks fit, but once you start building the controller you realize that it (basically the left stick) has so much resistance that you can't use it properly. There is a screw holding the control board closer to the left side of the thumb. You can try to loosen the screw and the joystick will have more freedom until you close the controller. In both cases, the left stick does not work as intended. This was an issue I've had with other joysticks and the only reason I bought them was because someone stated in the Q&A that they work ambiguously. I wonder if that person actually installed it completely or if it was some kind of nonsense. Don't waste your time with this, wait for confirmed PS5 works made for PS5. Even though the joysticks appear to be the same size, there is a thickness issue or something preventing ps4/xbox thumbs from working on PS5.
