Length - 15ft I ordered these cables for better organization of computer equipment layout instead of a 6ft cable connecting Epson Perfection V600 via USB 2.0 port, everything worked fine. When I switch to a 15" cable, I hear the computer confirm the connection to the scanner, but the application displays an error message saying it cannot communicate with the scanner. However, once the 15-inch cable is plugged into the USB 3.0 port, everything works properly. So I can only conclude that the extra USB 3.0 output power is necessary when operating at this length.
