This coffee maker is awesome! I finally upgraded head over heels from my old 12th which I've had since college despite seeing most of the bad reviews. I figured why not because it was a good deal. It arrived with a slightly damaged box but I bought the returned one and it said the box was damaged. I pulled the car out and there wasn't a scratch anywhere! We plugged it in and set it up and it worked great! One of my favorite features of this machine is that it can make hot or cold coffee! I prefer iced coffee but can be used for hot coffee too. I ordered a set of Italian capsules, Nescafé capsules and Starbucks capsules. Italian ones are fine, but mostly smaller cups or espresso shots. Starbucks is definitely worth it, they taste great! I don't have a Nescafé yet, so I'm not sure how they taste. Yes, the power cord is bright red, but that doesn't bother me. I also like that it's compact! We have a small townhouse kitchen with a galley so it doesn't have much space and doesn't take up much space at all! Overall very happy with my purchase. Just take a chance! The worst that can happen is that you don't like it and you send it back!
