I had never heard of Damen + Hastings before but when I saw this wallet I thought it was perfect for travel (when everyone has a COVID-19 vaccine ) and sure to travel again , of course). One of the big problems with traveling, especially abroad, is that someone can steal your wallet. This wallet has a zip closure to keep it closed when not in use and a drawstring closure. This allows you to wear it around your neck, where it's harder to steal (of course, it's better to wear it under a zipped shirt or jacket, rather than just dangling around your neck). You can also keep it in your back pocket, but tie the drawstring to your belt. The two issues I have with the wallet are the price and the flash. $30 is too much for this wallet considering the small size and materials. For the price it should be waterproof. Also, the zipper easily gets caught when you fully unzip the zipper to use it. Every time I unpack it I have to fight to close it again. It might just be a manufacturing defect on my particular one, but it's something to check out as soon as you get it.
