I was looking for an LED light bulb to replace some 40w candelabra bulbs. Large stores tend to sell two options for replacing candelabra LEDs - 2700K and 5000K color temperatures - and both have color issues in my opinion. 2700K lamps are too yellow and 5000K lamps are too bluish. I tried a dedicated 3000K LED bulb but found they were too yellow too. These 4000K bulbs are whitish in color and work great in a fixture that is open to the ceiling. They stick out about 3 inches from the base and are about an inch wide. They have decent light output, comparable to the bulbs they replaced (maybe a little brighter). At 5 watts, they use 1/8 the wattage of the bulbs they replaced. In 5 months of nightly use none have burned out - so far so good. Recommended as a good replacement for the white LED chandelier light bulb.
