The camcorder is very easy to set up - you just plug the USB into your computer and the computer will recognize it. I have found that the video captured by this camera at 1080p image quality is significantly better than what my laptop's video camera produces (ie 720p). Sound quality is clear and doesn't have the odd feedback I get with my laptop, although the Wansview device's microphone requires you to speak at a sufficient volume to ensure loud enough playback. The camera is very small, which is nice; I had imagined it to be bigger and more obtrusive. In general, I recommend it if you don't already have a good video camera on your computer.
