I have a Norcold RV refrigerator. I had serious performance issues, I added an external fan and a 2D cell powered fan inside that runs on alkaline (disposable) batteries for 2-3 months. I tried rechargeable nickel cadmium D batteries but their performance was terrible. I don't like throwing away batteries, so I added 18650 rechargeable lithium batteries that don't like the cold. Already had chargers for 3 batteries and extra batteries so it fit in nicely. To be honest I bought 600 hours bs (25 days!) usage at low prices - that's just a deceptive lie. Really, maybe a week of life, so that's the cure. I change and charge these batteries about 20-25 times before changing D cells. So judge for yourself, it looks like it will work in tandem with the D-Cell fan.
