I wonder what happened to all these negative reviews. Are some devices not as magnetic as others or something like that? We have an old Whirlpool fridge and I bought these to store our oven mitts on the side of the fridge. I was specifically looking for hooks that do NOT pivot, and I also didn't want those hooks to fold inward towards the base of the hook. They fit the picture as they are all metal, which is what I wanted. In truth, the magnets on the back are tiny, and yes, the magnets look like they were glued on by a two-year-old. Definitely not skill. But these hooks are great for what I need them for (holding oven mitts on the side of the fridge). Nothing slips and the potholders are very easy to take off the hook when you need the potholder. The actual part of the hook is smooth and points outwards slightly, away from the base of the hook, to allow for easy removal of the mittens from the hooks and re-attachment to the hooks. No need to struggle with swivel hooks! These hooks are still in the same spot I put them in about a month ago (and waiting to post a review) and they haven't budged at all. They also feel like they can support more weight than a pot holder. Hooray for my fridge probably lol. Anyway, they are absolutely perfect for me and I hope they work for you.
