I have nothing bad to say about these lights. They work incredibly well and come with power adapters so they can be used from an outlet. If you plan on running it on batteries only, I would suggest buying extra batteries just to be safe. Not that they have short lives, but you don't want to be caught off guard on set. Depending on what you intend to use these lights for, I highly recommend purchasing a softbox attachment for these lights from Neewer (I'll put a link at the end.) Although the light comes with a diffuser plate, it's still pretty tough The addition of a softbox makes it the perfect setup for me. Add to that the fact that you can add color gels and it's just the icing on the cake. I will be traveling to South America in a few months to shoot a video in the jungle and see how well these lights travel. I will do my best to update you after the trip.
