Review on Bohemian Vintage Duvet Cover - Erosebridal Goldern Mandala King Size Bedding Set by Chelsea Garcia

After ALWAYS waiting for this duvet cover to arrive from China, I really, really wanted to like it. But no matter how hard I try, my strongest reaction is an uplifting "Aha." The first thing that didn't impress me was that the (unnamed) fabric is quite shiny. Given the folk pattern, I guess I figured it would look less artificial. Then I noticed that there is some kind of ugly dark grey-blue stripe that is not very visible in the photos. It's at the top above the weights and swivel area. Look closely and you will see a small piece in the second photo. It's more than it seems. It's also darker and really doesn't blend in well with the rest. The third subpage is the actual "down side". It's bright white. It's definitely NOT the yellow in the picture. Looks terribly out of place with my yellow sheets. Mine are orange too. The same goes for pillowcases. Finally, the description says it's easy to remove the blanket you stuff it with. Maybe true. I haven't tried it yet because it was very difficult to tuck the blanket in. Now I'm fully interested in keeping it there. So. I received this to decorate my room and to help fight chronic depression. <shrug> I'm not going to kill myself out of frustration, but that didn't give me a reason to live. It just is.
