NOT a genuine replacement filter
It filters out dust and larger particles so if that's all you need it's a fair buy but these are disposable filters unlike the original they throw away. Hamilton Beach OEM filters are made from two types of materials as stated in other reviews. This means that it depends on the installation position of the filter. With two paper filters from which they consist, the installation position does not matter. If you want the level of filtration that Hamilton Beach (allergy sufferers) claims, go for the original - it'll cost you more but protect you better.
