It worked first for my 2005 Volvo S60 2.5T. I like the thickness of the walls and the solid construction. My only concern is that the fit should be about 0.5mm smaller in diameter. Just enough sludge will remain to adhere to the filter housing when loosened. This is because Volvo is notorious for these filters being difficult to remove. No matter how easy you put it on, after 3,000 miles it feels like it's been glued on. Part of the problem is that the cap needs to be changed every 5 oil changes, but nobody does.
