Will not lie flat. - my new review

I've left it out for weeks but it will not smooth out. Maybe it has spent too much time rolled up and now the "waves" are permanent? The hexes are not consistent either and are different sizes depending on where you are on the table. I bought it for Battletech and it looks OK and if you could find a way to smooth it out it would be great. Maybe if the rubber backing was heavier like a FAT MAT. Oh well. It's too late to return this first one but I'm going to return the second one I purchased.
