Mat has been had cut from roll of material very poorly. edges are cut at very bad angels and all are different. the sides that where cut where also very poorly done as well. The price on this mat too high for the quality of the mat and the quality of the cuts on the mat. also the image quality is very low compared to other mats in the same price range. we ordered this over other companies because it was Available very quickly from amazon. only keeping because we need it for now.

I've left it out for weeks but it will not smooth out. Maybe it has spent too much time rolled up and now the "waves" are permanent? The hexes are not consistent either and are different sizes depending on where you are on the table. I bought it for Battletech and it looks OK and if you could find a way to smooth it out it would be great. Maybe if the rubber backing was heavier like a FAT MAT. Oh well. It's too late to return this first one but I'm going to return the second one I purchased.

Bought this for my husband's warhammer obsession, he was so excited. It is huge though so make sure you have a good flat space to use it in, or buy a fold up table to use specially for playing.
