Tl;dr: My incredibly picky cat loves this (big win) but I took a star off because the actual quality is okay. However, I would buy again. I've had this cat for a year and basically my apartment is a graveyard of the snubbed/ignored cat beds I got for her. I bought this bed because it was pretty much the only type of bed I hadn't tried and after a few weeks while inspecting it and occasionally stepping on it for a moment she ended up curling up in it. Since then she has used it several times a day making it the best bed I have ever bought for her. She weighs about 10 pounds and is holding her weight with no problem. The bed itself is not very well made and I wasn't expecting it at this price point. Assembly was pretty easy until I started attaching a metal bow to the toy which gave me some trouble. The nuts on the threaded ends of the arch were too low, making it impossible to attach the arch without moving the nuts. However, all the nuts and threads were painted over so I had to strip away paint residue to move the nuts enough, which was annoying. After assembly the bottom of the bed isn't quite level so there is some wobbling which isn't great but my cat doesn't seem to mind. When I first assembled the bed there was a slight smell of paint but it went away after a few hours. If you have a picky cat, this bed is definitely worth trying!
