Lack of paper towels and my son from the grocery store told me they were not available prompted me to purchase these towels as they were a great price. I've been using them for about a week now and although I thought I was getting a medium sized kitchen towel, they are actually larger than a standard bath towel. Solid colors are of very good quality and still look good after repeated washing. White ones, with a colored band sewn in, didn't feel great when washed - they wrinkled along the band. Not a big deal if you wipe down the counter, but if the company ends I'd certainly ditch them and skip the blue ones. Both absorb liquids well and don't pill in the dryer.
