I've never liked selfie sticks, let alone asking complete strangers to take pictures for me, so I was on vacation with my family, maybe was it the it was I checked one out once, mainly because it's also a tripod and can hold a regular camera too (with the mount that comes with it). Of course why not; it's compact, very light and expandable, all at a reasonable price. And since airlines charge for each piece of luggage, it doesn't take up much space or weight. It connects to your phone via Bluetooth, and the 'clicker' even detaches, allowing you to take pictures from quite a distance - much further than I'm sure anyone would need. As I tested it, I kept stepping back and wondering how far the distance is between me and my phone. My camera/tripod was set up at the back of the house and as far as my front door I was still able to shoot from a distance (over 30ft at least). So the truth is, I don't know how much more range he can get, but he definitely impressed me. Again, I think this should be more than enough in any practical application. Can't wait to use this on our upcoming (and much needed - isn't always) vacation.
