I think these jigsaw puzzles are worth the investment. They are well assembled, have no paint/chemical smell and the puzzle pieces and backing are sanded clean and smooth, no chipping! Puzzles can be used with or without a back. The pieces are large enough that there is no choking hazard and the color choices are great too. Bright vibrant colors that seem to catch my daughter's attention and interest in playing with them. Connecting the pieces is also quite easy, they just snap together without any effort. Drawstring pouch which is a great way to keep them together. I even recommend this purchase for babies under 10 months because it at least gives them something bright and vibrant to look at, play with and nibble on.
