Too difficult for a 3 year old.
It's a cute toy but my 3 year old granddaughter kept coming back to me to put the damn thing on her bike. She is the second child, loves to play alone and usually never needs help with toys. The character has big shoes and stiff hands, so it's not easy for an adult to get him to ride a bike. I would say that she is just playing with the red figure and forgot the bike. Like Barbie, kids really just play and don't use tiny shoes, purses, etc.
