I loved the idea of a sensory basket for my granddaughters and thought it would be a good purchase for them to play on the patio. Water balloons should be placed in a bowl of water so that they are fully filled and enlarged. This process alone will take several hours, so do it before the game starts. Sand is good until it gets wet with drops of water, and then the balls become sandy, and it's almost impossible to get sand off them. Like most children, my granddaughters didn't keep things separate. The toys are cheaply made and to be honest I think I could make a better DIY sensory basket. The included bag is neat but not sturdy.
