I love using fabric softener on clothes to get rid of extra wrinkles and keep clothes smelling nice. Since switching to a plant-based cleaner, my clothes are much cleaner, but the lovely rose scent from my cleaner doesn't last long. Not to mention my clean clothes after putting them in the basket to bring home from the laundry were so minty. I've always liked Downy so I figured if it was a herbal product I'd give it a try. You only need a very small amount. One day the bottle spilled and too much went into the washing machine and fabric softener stains appeared on my black clothes. Nothing was damaged, just had to be washed again. I usually only use a full cap when using the largest shim available. Also, a small amount is all you need. Washing machine clothes smell wonderful. I use rose oil dryer balls in the dryer and between the oil and this fabric softener, my clothes still smell great out of the dryer, which never happens. I added this to my subscription and keep it. Two bottles usually last about 6 months if I wash for two adults every two weeks.
