It is designed to work the way it works

They work as advertised. They close very tight. A comment for anyone who said they had trouble getting them off the camera after they snapped. If you look at the kit you will see that the end that attaches to your camera has this little stud sticking out. Outside. You must move it forward (away from the camera and in line with the lens) to remove the ring from the camera. It's designed to work the way it works. If I had a suggestion for the manufacturer, it would be that the little ma-doo-dad bolt thingy works fine (once you figure out how to get it loose) - with a lever style or something positioned at an angle easier to reach it, and/or - just press an arrow with the words -> release. . . . both make it more visible by helping the people who buy the product. . . and helping you by not getting them to return anything as defective after trying not to ruin their camera by taking it off - because you didn't give the simplest description of how it comes out.) They work and work pretty smoothly alone once you understand what you need to do to trigger it, but the other problem with the way you built this is that there isn't much room between the camera body and your little bolt head. Anyone thinking of buying them - don't worry, they seem to work well, but knowing how to get something released is very important - and this little invention is really the only thing I don't consider pretty decent would production. It works, it's just damp compared to the rest of the product.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Great for using FD lenses on APC-S sensor cameras (Rebel T5) but not perfect
