I am very pleased with the fit and feel of this case. However, I have a 5th gen 16GB model that doesn't have a camera. It was discontinued in June 2014. On this model, the microphone is located at the top next to the sleep/wake button. The case covers the microphone. I don't blame the manufacturer for not having a hole as only a small percentage of iPod touch 5th/6th/7th gen models have it. generation has a microphone there. I just want to let everyone who has my model know about the closed mic. Surprisingly, the noise is readable. I think it might increase the noise though. If I used the mic more I might drill a hole in the top of the case to open it up. Plug in some audio cables. This problem is typical for most cases. I need to buy an adapter to connect the cable from my home entertainment system. While the case isn't as difficult to remove as my iPhone SE case, I still don't want to take it off just to listen to music through the stereo speakers.
