The app definitely needs an overhaul. Some tree effects are almost impossible to reproduce without repeated placement and testing. Pro tip: make sure all the strings you want to merge have the same firmware and settings (e.g. carousel) and that they all get SEPARATELY onto your wifi before you connect them, as it's impossible to cancel them other than deleting and launching the application. Above. It usually takes several attempts to get them on the WiFi. Enough to make you thirsty but the effects are really cool, the lights are small and bright. The colors are literally endless. From deep purple to orange, the first night I only played with solid colors. The musical effect seems to be trying, but the preset suppresses it. The ability to change colors, flicker, fade, etc. is literally more than I have the ability or patience to take full advantage of. The presets were more than enough for my kids to stay up all night (and my phone's battery). fiddling with it once I got it working. Make the application more intuitive and with more control over merging and editing of merged strings and I get 5 stars. It could be the next big thing, but I think they released it a little unfinished. It's still worth it.
