Ok, so first up the good. The range from sensor to station is legit. I have the sensor mounted on a post at the front of my property and the base in my home officer at the back. My house has steel siding and the signal sounds off loud and clear.Now the 'meh': The base station buttons on mine are different (reversed) from what's shown in the videos. The sensor has a real range of about 18ft (4m) in the sun.The bad: I've tried more than a dozen times to change the sound using the video instructions and the sound always reverts back to the default sound after setting.I got it with the coupon and picked it up for about $13 USD and it's ok, but no where near as good as the old Harbor Freight one that's been discontinued.
