I bought this alarm just as a cheap backup for my Gaurdline one that keeps getting moisure in it and giving false alarms. I figured at 13 bucks it wouldn't be great but I'd try it. Lemme say, this was the best purchase I could've made.Straight from the box I could already tell it was designed smarter. Mine was defective when new, I could select the different tones, but it would not store my selection into memory. Also you should know that the volume is not very loud at all. The many tones are definitely cool though.

This worked great the first 2 days. Now it doesn't work when cars pull in the drive. A racoon sets it off every once in awhile but thats it.

Once I got it working it was helpful and served it's purpose. That was the first week. THEN, it just stopped working. NOW, my search is on yet again for something I can use for when someone walks up my driveway.I watched every video here and nothing helps getting it to work again. I'm very unhappy but threw the box away, can't even return it!

I like that the base unit is plugged into the wall elect, I only had to use four AA, batteries,we will see how long they last, I am very happy with this purchase, I also like the hood on the outside unit.

Easy to install and the long range is great as I have a 400' driveway. Customer service is great, I needed a part because of an error of mine and the part shipped quickly.

I've used a number of different, inexpensive driveway alarms over the years. Most had various issues that made them not worth using. This one however, works so well!It didn't alert for the car headlights which is great next to a busy road. The sensor is well programmed, it picks up small movement (like birds) and has not missed a vehicle. I'm going to order another for my mom, definitely worth having around.

This motion detector has no distance and alert sound is way to low. Best Buy should not not be selling this product on there site.

I was looking for a detector/receiver set to be fully battery operated so I could move about my place with the receiver. This was not it. The receiver requires being directly attached to an AC outlet. I didn't test this at all, just returned it

It is a bit of a pain to get multiple units to connect. Great customer service, I do recommend it for the price. Susceptible to damage by rust and corrosion.

Bought two for my elderly grandparents circle driveway so they know when someone enters. They love them! I loved them too so I bought another 2 for my property. One in the driveway and one for the back path. There are so many sound options too I believe even Christmas songs!

Like a few people have mentioned it’s impossible to change the chime. Only the ding dong works. I suspect that most people here havent even bothered to try that.I am going to send it back and try a dif one and if that does not work I will return it for good

It does work good but only one ring tone will work, we've tried and tried to change it but only the doorbell tone will work. But I'm satisfied with my purchase.

Had to move it and turn it more towards the driveway as large vehicles (trucks) would trigger it. Would detect vehicle in driveway 85% of the time, would randomly trigger on nothing the other 15%. Worse thing is it would emit "roaring growl" like a Jurassic Park movie dinosaur at random times with nothing in drive or on highway. Called tech support, they said to take batteries out and reset and set it up again from scratch. I did this 3 times, set a different alarm tone each time, which worked…

I installed this as the entrance of my driveway and it works as advertised. Even works inside my metal workshop at about a quarter acre away. I was also able to pair multiple units together. It was a bit tricky but if you follow the included directions, you can pair multiple units together.

So far it works great. It worked through rain and snow and bitter cold. No false alarms either. Just wish they'd sell the sensors a little cheaper.

This is a great gateway alert! We watched the U-tube on it and the seller sent it to us. The directions were not much so the seller got us u-tube directions.They were perfect and it works perfectly. We just built an enclosed courtyard and so we cannot see who comes to our home. This works perfect and at night we know if someone is trying to get in as well.Highly recommend.

This item comes with no directions at all. Easy enough to figure out as far as install. But still can’t figure out how to change the tune played when someone pulls up. My doorbell sounds the same 😏

The instructions are for a doorbell. The instructions still seem to apply to this driveway alarm even though it refers to a doorbell and many of the pictures do not make sense or apply to this device. IT is also a very poor English translation. I tried changing the music and repeatedly unpaired the two devices. I was able to pair the two again, but was never able to choose the music I wanted while keeping the receiver and transmitter paired. It was a big waste of time. I've had other driveway…

Bluetooth linking instructions almost unreadable (small print). Finely got unit to react to motion. Left uninstalled for a few hours. Had to relink . Worked ok. Left uninstalled overnight same problem. Returned. Instructions were not written by English speaking person. Hard to follow. Pictures in instructions were of a completely different unit. Don’t waste your money.
