Hard-Wired Motion Sensor: Maxxima Ceiling Mount 360° PIR Occupancy Sensor Review

I have installed two of these in my workshop and am very happy with their performance so far. They have excellent ambient light and motion sensitivity settings. You can also set the time.

I have purchased and installed three of these units over the years. My main use was to automatically turn on the light in the basement and last but not least turn it off automatically. The last one was installed to turn on the attic lights.

The unit was wired to turn on 6 LED strips on the garage ceiling. The device is either not compatible with the advertised LED drivers or was defective upon arrival. Tried in daylight and also in complete darkness for troubleshooting. A different brand sensor was put in its place and the headlights worked as expected with no changes to wiring etc.

This product does not work. I wanted to return it and missed the return window by 4 days. It's unreliable. It doesn't constantly detect movement. You can open the garage door and it may or may not turn on. It turns on randomly and you can be in the room, and it turns off the light like you're not there, even if you wave and dance around it still won't turn on again. This product doesn't really work.
