🏠 Htzsafe Solar Driveway Alarm System: 1/4 Mile Long Transmission Range - Solar Powered, Weatherproof Motion Sensor & Detector DIY Security Alert System Review

Sometimes it works well, but not very often. It goes well for a few days, then it stops completely and after a few days it starts again. I've been trying to figure out the parameters to see what the problem is, but it definitely doesn't reach more than 50 meters. I don't think it's a detection issue, I think it's a range issue. I'll probably send it back and find something else that actually does what it says on the tin. Grrrr!

I live in an area with lots of wildlife so I didn't know what to expect. I'm very happy with how well this works. I had 0 false alarms even on a very windy day. However, I am notified every time a vehicle or person enters the driveway. It's amazing to know BEFORE someone comes to my door that they are coming. I recommend this product without hesitation. It was very easy to set up, even for people like me who are technically challenged.

Previously had a 1/2 mile block from this company. I don't need this range and had the opportunity to purchase this one. So my goodness - the size difference is amazing (see photo) but still it delivers all the bells and whistles in a cleaner package. I used to have a different brand and it was terrible. I sent it back due to false alarms and malfunctions. The HTZsafe driveway alarm works great. I've had it for about a week now and not a single false positive. It went off once in the middle of the night to alert me to a kiota on my property. The 4 fixing screws that come with the kit are of very poor quality but can be easily replaced (recommended) on site before installation, with American screws that make the installation much easier. This HTZSAFE solar alarm sensor in our driveway has been working flawlessly for the last two weeks but yesterday it missed a couple of cars that passed in front but found others. Here in Texas it was 100 degrees Fahrenheit and sunny every day. This device is exactly what we were looking for. I've only recently started using solar lights (from QVC) as they are much better than solar lights a few years ago which didn't hold a charge well. With the much more powerful batteries currently installed, a charge lasts 6/8 hours. The directions are very good. Install this as directed. Pair the devices and see if it's easy.
