Review on 🏠 Htzsafe Solar Driveway Alarm System: 1/4 Mile Long Transmission Range - Solar Powered, Weatherproof Motion Sensor & Detector DIY Security Alert System by Sam Hawj

This HTZSAFE solar alarm sensor in our driveway has been working flawlessly for the last two weeks but yesterday it missed a couple of cars that passed in front but found others. Here in Texas it was 100 degrees Fahrenheit and sunny every day. The alarm is mounted on a wooden pole 30 inches off the ground and aimed across the width of our driveway, approximately 20 feet from the pole to the furthest side of the driveway. Exams. I unplugged and plugged the receiver back in and it flashed blue a few times, but I thought the receiver was working fine - it's the sensor. The sensor works fine indoors, but when I put it back on the outdoor mount it only works when I'm within a few meters - it doesn't work beyond two meters. I have set the sensor sensitivity to low (3 button presses), medium (4 button presses) and high (5 button presses) with no success. I pointed the sensor at different angles. It worked and now it doesn't, and I don't have the patience to figure out why. I used to have a plastic alarm sensor that ran on batteries - it worked for 20 (!) years before the weather took its toll. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a reasonable replacement for him. I wrote to the seller who responded within 2 days to a previous question about a missing USB adapter and/or cable mentioned in the manual. He sent me a completely different alarm receiver with a USB adapter and told me to use that adapter for the sensor(?). This time I only waited 24 hours for a response before deciding to just return everything. I have had this device for almost 30 days. So after navigating through several Revain screens, "Why don't you talk to the Revain assistant?" (As if they know anything about this device) and "Why don't you take this to a UPS delivery location instead of getting it from to have us collect it?' I finally got confirmation that I can send it back and UPS will bring the label and collect it.
