This device is exactly what we were looking for. I've only recently started using solar lights (from QVC) as they are much better than solar lights a few years ago which didn't hold a charge well. With the much more powerful batteries currently installed, a charge lasts 6/8 hours. The directions are very good. Install this as directed. Pair the devices and see if it's easy. Ours worked right after setup. I installed a base unit about 24 inches high to cover both of our driveways to the house. It shouldn't be higher unless you're covering a much larger area, e.g. B. a driveway. I adjusted the placement, it's a simple ball and socket. We tested it once, made adjustments and it's great. The bell block is set up in our common room, which, like many others, is the heart of the action. It's a double beep that alerts you when something happens to the detector. IMO it's loud enough to be heard throughout the house. Good value for money.
