The screws holding the door for the batteries in the motion detector are too small and too tight to open without damaging the screws. Sending the unit back.

Bought this to replace a much older and failing similar product by Defiant. Used as a door alarm for those packages we'd otherwise not know are there.Works fine, though I'd hoped for a little more range. Maybe I'll have to play with positioning. Hoped the chime had a little louder setting also. And the battery compartment is accessed by the removal of four tiny screws (which is a bit of a nuisance).The default tone is a ding dong chime. It has great detection ability. The only problem is the alert system. I followed the directions but it doesn't change. Also wish it was rechargeable instead of disposable batteries.

I recently bought this to replace a much more expensive motion alert for our drive through. The sensor was easy to install and getting to the batteries just took a small Phillips head screwdriver. The alert part plugs in only taking up one outlet. There is no setup needed! Our sensor is outside about 15 feet from the indoor unit. It alerts consistently to cars without many false alarms. So far this works well, easy to install. many alarms to choose from 58, almost too many. Even has specialty alarms for specific holidays. Multiple volume levels which is nice. Has a night light but it's confusing cuz it never stays on so not sure the use of it.

I'd hoped for the receivers to provide a louder alert than they do, but each sensor can be paired to multiple receivers, so buying several sets allows placing receivers wherever needed to be audible. Moreover, there are 58 different alert tones, so programming each receiver to tie the same tone to a given sensor means they all play the same unique tone for whatever sensor is activated. Ok I've had other driveway monitors, and this one works surprisingly well for the price! I've had no false alarms and has a lot of different chime tones to choose from. I had no problem figuring out how to use it. Discovered the features almost by accident. Have the sensor approximately a football field length from the receiver. The only thing I noticed is the batteries will be kind of a pain to change. You have to unscrew the back panel and remove it to get to them.

This worked when you wabed your hand in front of it but not when yoi walk past it 5 ft away. the ad said 15-20 ft I was hoping to use this is my driveway to be alerted when cars pull in. I bought it using my bank account but when I returned it the money was put onto an amazon gift card NOT back into my bank account where it came from frustrating.

They were installed correctly, the unit that was placed next to the mailbox near the road watching the driveway works if the car is pulling in close enough to put mail in the mailbox but not if it's in the center of the driveway which is 3 ft further away from the mailbox then the mailman drives. I can walk next to the one at the front door and if I wave my hand within feet of it it will go off but not if I'm more than three feet away. Just junk

Everything looked great. Open them up, took them out of the box set the monitor batteries in the alarm part both worked individual. But could not get them to sync together to work. So would not recommend getting.

We have had some local burglaries so I bought this driveway alarm as an extra bit of security. So far it works fine. Ok, so first up the good. The range from sensor to station is legit. I have the sensor mounted on a post at the front of my property and the base in my home officer at the back. My house has steel siding and the signal sounds off loud and clear.Now the 'meh': The base station buttons on mine are different (reversed) from what's shown in the videos. I purchased this product after my work van had been broken into. I used this product as a motion detector by putting it inside the van is setting up the alert to go off in my bedroom. At around 4:30 in the morning the alert sounded. I was able to get up and catch the thief before he was able to completely get into my van and steal everything.
