Review on 🔊 Polk Audio 255c-RT In-Wall Center Channel Speaker (2) 5.25" Drivers - The Vanishing Series, Easily Installable in Wall, Power Port, Paintable Grille (Black/White) by Ann Torres

I bought and installed this for a client along with six RT625RTs for the RL, surround and rear speakers. I made the backboxes out of some heavyweight foam speaker dampening material. It was an existing design so my options were limited. The customer had pre-wired the speaker wiring and it wasn't the cable I normally use, but it was good quality 16GA to install. For the money spent, the sound is damn good! As a center channel speaker, it is articulate and focused. The highs were smooth, refined and extended. Floors are solid. The Audessy setup actually set the crossover to 40Hz! I had to set it a little higher than I wanted. Luckily it was close to the roofline and sloped toward the listening area. For its value, this speaker represents excellent value.
