This review is for e-book readers looking for matte screens to reduce glare during intensive reading on iPad mini 4, Matter Screen Protector The screen film has a "Noise Texture" that removes glare on the screen, but I find it much more difficult to read as the fonts aren't as sharp and cause more eye strain - the "shading" of text , which is caused by the noise texture makes reading uncomfortable. You'll also need to turn up the brightness from normal settings on your iPad to compensate for the darker matte screen protector, which means the battery drains faster. So heavy reading + eye strain + reduced battery life = BAD iPad as an e-reader. If you don't read on a black background with white text all the time, just buy a regular screen protector.
