Can you make your own travel litter box that matches this functionality? Yes you can. But you're busy, like me, and whatever you're doing, you probably need to buy some supplies. So god take it. This worked great for me and my cat who has traveled 2,000 miles in 5 nights at motels. These are 5 sets and packs. and 5 zippers and tiebacks. Light. I left it indoors for a week or two to air out before we used it. Includes small "toy" garbage shovel. Works perfectly! And a fold-out panel they contained. Guess it works great! I think you have to be careful not to get dirt in the zipper seams. But I really had no problems. FYI, I use Crystal Filler. Good luck, cat travelers!
