We bought it for our upcoming trip to Legoland and gave it to our (soon to be) 8 year old. He loves to! It arrived yesterday, he wore it to dinner and received several compliments. After reading the reviews I decided to order an adult size for him, he already has a big head and he is very suitable for growth so it will accompany him for many years.
