Review on Enhanced Peacock Green Liquid Dye by Rit DyeMore by Wendy Rodriguez

I'm delighted with the result! I was skeptical at first, but there are specific staining recipes on the Rit website that helped a lot. The shoes I dyed are made of both natural and synthetic fibers, so I mixed 2 batches of the solution: one with Rit Traditional Liquid Dye (for natural fabrics) and one with Rit Dyemore (for synthetics). I added both dyes and mixed them in a bath of hot water (on the stovetop) with about 2 teaspoons dish soap and about 2 teaspoons salt. The shoes have changed color (in phase) over time and to be honest I like the intermediate colors too but I wanted the color batch to fully mature as planned. About 35 minutes after coloring, I rinsed my skin off with hot water and a bottle of Rit Color Fixative, then continued rinsing until the water ran clear. I tossed the shoes in the washing machine with cold detergent and tumble dried for a few minutes on a very low setting and then air dried. I couldn't be happier with the results. I will definitely do it again very soon!
