I recently bought this and haven't had much time to work with it. It seems to work well as other reviewers have described. I bought this to set up my small drawing sets so I can draw from the driver's seat in a car. Sometimes it's impossible to move towards the passenger - because of the review and because I'm right-handed. So I can stow other devices on the center console. I think this will work fine. Being a lot chubby than I should be I had to adjust the seat and steering wheel but it was easy to do and I easily returned to my normal driving position. I pounded and pushed hard on the tray and it held its position well and seemed very solid. I also appreciated not having to flip the handlebars to attach it (some other brands say you have to do this with their similar products). If this doesn't work I will change my rating. At the same time, I look forward to using it a lot!
