The material is very thin and silky. It might be fine if you're trying to stay cool, but it's almost translucent on a white shirt. This is especially noticeable when I put my hands behind my head or reach behind me so that the front of the shirt is pulled snugly across my chest. It's scary to think about what will happen if my shirt gets wet. The overall landing was about the same as expected.
