With them, the bottom of the backpack and the scope can no longer be attached to the frame.

I like that they are soft but the strings included are uncomfortable. If you tie them to the bottom of the backpack and play with them, you won't be able to attach the bottom to the frame, and if you have a crazy kid like mine, they can easily pull out the bottom and you will find them sitting on the frame . collect and play. I wish there was a slot to slide velcro through in the backpack so the bottom could attach to the frame.
