It's very cute and great, but the fabric itself doesn't stretch. Instead, there is a very tight elastic band around the waistband and legs. The end result is that my son is virtually unable to manipulate them himself. The loose fabric tangles in the tight elastic and curls up incredibly easily when he pulls her up, and we end up having to help him untangle it. When we switched to less cute but stretchy panties, he was now able to go to the bathroom by himself which made the whole process better for everyone involved. I know they're cute, but believe me, they're not. its worth it.
