I had a 15 inch laptop in my living room which I used to stream from my upstairs media server. I bought a MINIX to replace my laptop because it takes up less space and generates less heat (I also wanted to give my teenager a laptop as a gift). Worked great! For the purpose I use it for, I didn't need a lot of storage space. I needed Windows 10, HDMI and WiFi. If you need storage space, this machine is not for you. I only find it good for streaming and web browsing. Paired with a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard, this is perfect for my living room entertainment setup. What I used it for: - Wirelessly stream movies from a media server to a projector. - Wireless video streaming from the Internet (Youtube, etc.) to the projector.
