They are smaller than stated. They should be 18 x 18 inches but are 17 1/2 x 17 1/2 inches. When you put the pillow in, they are more like 15-16 inch pillows. They actually go better with our small pillows, but they're 14" x 14" so I'll have to add extra padding. For this reason I give 3 stars. In terms of looks and quality I would give it a 5. My husband and I bought 4 used patio chairs last year and now that we are renovating our garden we have decided to restore the cushions rather than replace them. Replacements cost $40-$100 per chair compared to the $100 we spend on purchasing pillowcases.
