I don't usually write reviews but when I received these Moto Gear ratchet straps I thought they were worthy of a review. I've shopped a lot looking for a "better" ratchet strap than the one I already have. You know, the ones made in China are thin and usually not long enough (10 feet). When I decided to buy these Moto Gear ratchet straps I was amazed to see the quality after opening the packaging. This isn't a "well they look great so I'll give them 5 stars" rating. I've used them twice on two different 500 mile trips. We use a tractor on the back of our Superduty and place 2 Blue Hawk hoppers and a 72 liter radiator in the back. These 15 foot bands could provide TWO turns around the container, not just one. So each item has its own strap with two turns around it. Nothing comes off the back of the truck. These are wide straps and very dense material. The ratchet is super hard. You could probably hang an elephant from a mountain with these straps. Also, they are orange. This gives the dummy behind you a chance to see the load you are carrying. In addition, according to the manufacturer, they are made in the USA. If I could I would give 10 stars! Also, I use 18" heavy-duty orange tie-down straps to "easily" attach the hooks to the tractor. Look at the picture. Edition 06/18/2018. I love these belts. buy more. But what the heck, you really raised the prices a lot! At first I thought they were made in the USA. I'm now assuming they were made in China as I can't find any reference to "Made in America". Did you get the price you passed on to the consumer? If so, send them back for production here. We consumers deserve an honest response to such a drastic price increase. The only bad thing right now is the price and a good ass in a good way. I gave one star to get your attention I don't mind almost doubling the price of these straps. This photo is a previous order with the price. Also, I can't remember why I thought they were made in America when I first bought them. But the label on the strap next to "Made in China" is all in it, made in china, twice the price.
