The straps appear to be significantly thicker than other 1.5" ratchet straps but the stitching looks like it was from an apathetic one Prison employees made too much pine-sol before work. On one of the straps the stitching ran off the edge of the strap in a great tangle, and on the other three it was dangerously close to the edge. Obviously there was no quality control because I contacted the company through their website and didn't get a response so I sent it back.

For years I've used lighter weight (<1000lb) ratchet straps to carry canoes on the roof and after 1000 miles I've seen things like velcro stitching fall apart and the edges are so worn that I i decided to buy them.
