Earlier this year my wife bought an old stereo console from the late 60's. It's a great looking piece and strangely still sounds great. I hooked up the Sonos Connect to it via the RCA inputs and it worked great except we had to open the console and manually turn it on and off as we used it. The Bobwire DAT1 was EXACTLY the right solution for me, along with the IoT Relay extension, which I also purchased from Revain. I hooked everything up as per the DAT1 instructions for Sonos Connect, except I cut off one end of the 1/8" connector in the 12v trigger, stripped the positive and negative wires and connected them to the input of the relay have. This is also very easy to do with scissors and the wires inside are red for positive and black for negative Stereo has been plugged in and DAT1 has been plugged into the always on socket on the relay. Then I turned the stereo to "On". Well, it worked flawlessly on the first try! I pressed the play button in the Sonos app for this room and my stereo turned right with no problem After pausing it stopped playing after 1 minute Thanks again Bobwire for such a fantastic product!
