I bought them because it was supposed to rain a little during my marathon. After all, it was a real downpour - several times. I walked two miles in preparation for the race and ran over 5 miles in it. My feet started to overheat which was the only reason I took them off at mile 5. The cases were in perfect condition. I wanted to keep them, but I didn't have the option to wear them while running. I wear size 10.5 women's shoes, bought a large, they were just the right size. I wholeheartedly recommend them and will probably buy them again when I expect bad weather.
