In a static installation e.g. B. in a place that is not exposed to movement or elements, they are probably better. I bought these for an LED kit on my ATV and they didn't work well for that application. The embossing on the side of the LED strip was fine. Feeding wires and crimping them didn't usually pierce the screen. I had to strip the wires first and then crimp them. The connections to each pin of the LED will then vibrate and the lights will flicker. I sealed the links to the elements and they still managed to fail more often than I would have liked. Again, they should be fine in a static environment where they are placed and not moved. Not good for a mobile app that needs to deal with vibrations or elements. I also don't see how waterproof they are. Water penetrates them.
