Camcorders have come a long way and have the latest technology available that will record 4k video as long as your memory card supports it, much more stable images, very high image resolutions, direct Wi-Fi connection for streaming and other little things. such as noise and infrared/light filters that help achieve the best picture and sound that a mobile phone cannot offer. I bought it mainly for activities with kids, from sports to concerts, to capture moments as they grow up. The batteries are not bad, charging time is 2 hours and two are included. Included is a flashlight on batteries, for some reason it doesn't work. I think the Wi-Fi connectivity is an added bonus, easy to set up and way better than your standard power user webcam. Overall I'm impressed with the overall quality and would recommend it.
