Review on Lenovo IdeaPad Touch Laptop 6 Core by Adam Koodziejek ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A great option for this money, one of the best offers.

In my opinion, in terms of price / quality ratio, this is the best choice. For complete delight, I personally lack a curtain and a fingerprint scanner. Despite the rather voluminous list of minuses, I do not consider them significant (see rating). The battery is average. I didn’t specifically measure it, but it feels like it’s enough for ~ 5 hours of surfing at a backlight level above average. The maximum backlight level is more than enough for the room. The feeling that it may even be enough for a short viewing on the street, on a sunny day. On a clean Windows, with a browser running (with a couple of tabs, no multimedia) and an antivirus (scanning is not running), the processor displays a load of ~ 5-7%, and the fan runs ~ 30-40% of the time at minimal, unobtrusive in terms of noise speed. The temperature of the processor at the same time keeps around 40 degrees. With an average load, the fan quite naturally starts to “thresh” more strongly, but it cannot be said that it works loudly. An interesting point: I have never seen this before, but when ating the BIOS, the fan spins up to the maximum possible speed. the volume of the fan reminded me of checking Carlson HP ProLiant MicroServer when turned on. It was not possible to achieve this when running the bulik, so this is some kind of service mode for the fan. For comparison, I added Dell latitude 5310 (13'', 306x208x20 mm) to the photo

Pros
  • Strict, minimalistic design, there is nothing superfluous. The small Lenovo logo on the edge looks very neat (I have a bad attitude towards advertising banners on equipment) Completely aluminium. Anodized. Thin frames. Excellent set of ports (x2 Type-C, x2 USB (A), HDMI, headphones and card reader) Both Type-Cs can be used for charging (corresponding emblem on only one of them). Thin (not ultra, but quite) The minimum backlight level reduces it almost to zero. At this level, it can be comfortable to look at something before going to bed, the eyes will not melt. Good opening angle. Matrix highlights are present, but they are minimal. Given the current realities, I’ll take it rather as a plus. At the same time, one must understand that this may be a "plus" of a particular instance. Probably, this is no longer a plus, but there were no problems with installing drivers (a model without an OS was bought, 82L7000PRK), a utility is downloaded from the site, which helps there. website, scan. Plus there is some kind of utility to automatically ate drivers (she's a bit of an introvert, the UI is minimalistic). Highlighted this as a plus, tk. in the year 15-16 I struggled with downloading drivers for HP. Another small plus for the touchpad, it is not small (but not big either).
Cons
  • The camera shutter, which has already become a classic element, is missing. Surprisingly, the laptop is quite easily soiled, covered with spots once or twice. This is compensated by the fact that the spots, although visible, are not striking. The metal of the laptop lid flexes easily - not comparable to Macbooks. Non-standard screws for Torex. Doesn't seem like a problem, but why? The power button next to Delete can be inadvertently hurt. There are shoals of anodizing. On one of the faces, located below, the border of the transition from a lighter to a darker color is visible (considering the location, it is not critical, but "the sediment remains"). Not easy (but not heavy) the touchpad rattles a little when you press the left and right sides (LMB and RMB, respectively), a little annoying.
