I tested it 5 nights in a row, then it worked 1 time. It is extremely effective if you have chronically dry, chapped lips or use weather-cracked lips from time to time. I do not recommend it for those who will have normal lips like mine. It thinned and smoothed my lips too much after the 2nd night. You have to follow the instructions and wipe your lips in the morning even if you don't feel it. It feels so good and smells wonderful. I save it when we go skiing or boating otherwise it's too strong for weekly use. I am sending one to my oldest daughter who suffers from chronic dryness and chapped lips.
